At Lupus Modified, we are a charity driven by two powerful missions: raising awareness for systemic lupus erythematosus and promoting road safety.
WHY?
Our story is inspired by Abbey, a car enthusiast from Scarborough who faced the challenges of Lupus head-on. Despite her struggles, she always found joy in attending the annual Scarborough meet, her sanctuary and passion. Tragically, reckless driving led to the event’s ban. robbing Abbey of this cherished experience.
Now, we honour her legacy by tackling the challenges she faced, fighting for lupus awareness, and road safety, positive change within the modified car community.
OUR MISSION
Raising awareness of systemic lupus erythematosus.
Increasing the amount of cars with advertisements of Lupus awareness, a constant moving billboard all over the UK
Helping the research of Lupus and those suffering with the disease by contributing funds to Lupus UK.
Promoting the importance of road safety amongst the modified car enthusiasts community by building positive relationships with car clubs to run Operation Snap at gatherings and be a positive influence to younger generations
